What are Laminating Pouches?
Laminating Pouches, also called Laminate Sleeves or Laminator Chips, are two pieces of plastic that have been sealed along one side and are open on three sides to insert your item. Gloss Finish laminating sleeves are most popular providing a smooth, shiny, clear look to any insert laminated. A Matte Finish laminator pouch helps reduce glare from lighting, smudges and improves grip. Unlike traditional glossy pouches, soft-touch laminating sheets create a smooth, velvety surface that instantly communicates quality.
Pouches-Chips are run through a pouch laminator that permanently melts plastic into the paper to fully and permanently seal your item. Laminating Pouches can be manufactured to a custom size or shape.
Common uses for laminating pouches include business signage, restaurant menus, classroom visual aids, photo ID badges, instruction sheets, business cards, reference cards, and emergency procedures. Laminated documents not only look more polished, but they’re also resistant to water, smudges, and daily wear—making them ideal for high-touch environments like schools, hospitals, warehouses, and retail counters.
